To make the conscious decision to consume something by mouth.

Tobacco companies claim that people merely chewse to consume tobacco, but I find that reasoning flawed and selfish.

Actually, dat's backwards --- first you "choose" what to "chew", and THEN you pick yer teeth AFTERWARDS.

If yer toothbrush isn't handy at a particular time, you will want to "pick and chewse" what you munch on so dat you don't get any annoying fibers stuck between yer teeth.
