However, in some cases (case of mine) colour green is not connected to the person's character at all, at least, in my opinion

Gruen effect

Also known as "Gruen Transfer", this effect is a psychological phenomenon in retail where a confusing, enticing environment (like a mall) makes shoppers lose their original purpose, becoming overwhelmed and more likely to make unplanned impulse purchases.

I went into the mall just for some socks, but the Gruen Effect hit me, and I walked out with a new outfit and a bunch of random gadgets!
