Yeah, this guy that I just friended on Facebook is a like-stalker - he keeps liking all my status updates. Not sure if he's a true stalker or just stalker-ish... but, he is kinda cute...

closet liker

(On Facebook) When you avoid commenting or clicking the "like" button on the things someone posts because you don't want to let on that you like this person.

Girl: I really like the things this guy posts on his wall but I'm afraid to click "like" because then he'll think I like him... I do like him, but I would rather find other ways to approach him.
Friend: You're such a closet liker. Just be aware that if you avoid liking or commenting then he may think you aren't interested and you won't get his attention. On the other hand, if you "like" too much, then you're a like-stalker and might scare him away… it's a catch-22.

coder's block

A usually temporary psychological inability to begin or continue writing code / programming.

I just can't figure out how to approach this new programming project. Should I use PHP? Should I build it myself or look for some libraries I can use? I think I have coder's block.

I've been struggling with coder's block for the past few weeks, and after staring blankly all day at some really ugly code I wrote a while back that uses PHP, MySQL, and regex, it finally started clicking with me again and I was able to update it. I got it back now, baby!

When you've met so many new people lately you can no longer keep anyone's name straight. Even friends and family members whom you've known a long time are not exempt.

Friend 1: "Hi to Megan and James!"

Friend 2: "Not James...Michael dearie! James is my sister's son."

Friend 1: "Ooops, I am so sorry. I've been meeting a lot of new people lately, I must be suffering from name overload."

Las Vegas let-down

When you try to continue a relationship that started in a wild and crazy place but the other party declines. Related to the phrase what happens in vegas stays in vegas. Could apply to other places or events as well (not just Las Vegas).

guy 1: Hey, are you gonna see that girl you met last weekend again?
guy 2: Nah, she said she doesn't want to pursue anything in the 'real' world.
guy 1: Ahhh, the Las Vegas let-down. Sorry dude.
