Norman Mailer

Answering a question extremely quickly, especially a rather difficult one.

The term is named after the author himself, as well as an absolutely golden moment during Meredith Viera's time as the host of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", where a contestant phoned a friend for $250,000, and said friend instantly told him the correct answer - Norman Mailer.
Contestant: "Bob, in 1960, what author stabbed his second wife, Adele, with a pen knife during an argument at a party?"

Bob (before contestant even reads any of the choices): Norman Mailer!

*Audience cheers*

(A few moments later, contestant locks in Norman Mailer and gets it right)

Do as I say, not as I do

A phrase that literally means "I am a hypocrite, but you should still obey me." It is commonly used to mock someone (usually a politician, but can actually be anyone) displaying utter hypocrisy of any kind.
California Governor Gavin Newsom tries to mandate masks in the state. Later, he was seen sitting at a restaurant table with eleven people. Every single one of those eleven people -- Newsom included -- was NOT wearing a mask.

"Do as I say, not as I do" he said, effectively sweeping it under the rug.

Early Grave

A tragically young death, typically at or below the age of 40 or 50.

There's quite a few variations of the phrase. "Digging yourself an early grave", "Meeting an early grave", and "Driving someone into an early grave", to name a few.
1. Rhonda's son, Carson dug himself an early grave at the age of 29, thanks to his drug abuse and alcoholism.

2. Michael and Paula had a son named Harry, who met an early grave at the tender age of eight, due to leukemia.

3. Earl's job forced him to work odd hours, resulting in severe sleep deprivation. He aged very poorly as a result, and it ultimately drove him into an early grave at the age of 36.

Beef

To nerf (something) excessively to the point of uselessness; to weaken.

Not to be confused with the phrase "Beef Up," which is the exact opposite.
That game was fun until they decided to beef the minigun. Now it's frustrating.

Intellectually Disabled

The politically correct term for "mentally retarded." It became more widespread after the word "retard", originally used to describe a person who legitimately has an abnormally low IQ, was gradually used more and more as a pejorative term for people who suffer from developmental disorders.
"My cousin has an IQ of 62. He is intellectually disabled."

FU

A complete and utter dick move done solely out of spite, often to someone who doesn't deserve it.
My boss writing me up for standing up to a rude customer was a real FU.

Sailposting

The act of making a sentence and finishing it with a word that rhymes with "Sail." It became a trend in the unofficial lyric video for the song "Sail" by Awolnation.
