A desperate attention whore that will do ANYTHING to get noticed. Fundamentally driven by the same need that inspires virtue signalling, but different in one sense. Virtue signalling attempts to garner attention by exploiting outrage culture, whereas idiot kids got the idea that acting up and being the class clown was the proper way to get attention. Often found on social media doing outrageous things for clicks. Tendency to latch onto anything that's trending and milk it for views.

"Hey, did you hear about that guy who went around licking ice cream?"
"Oh yeah. They're licking toilet seats now. Fucking clout chasers. Did you hear about that one who went around jumping on tombstones?"
