Elitzin

Used to refer to someone with abnormally large sideburns. Mostly used by the Gleb squad in the suburbs of Sacramento.

"Hey, have you seen Patrick's face lately?"
"Yeah dude, he's such an elitzin!"

Mostly used in Northern California, referring to people with abundant facial hair. Often used to mock thick sideburns.

Ugglu

Ugglu is a placeholder code name you use when talking to your friends about any Jewish girl you may be interested in. Derived from the name "David", which in Arabic (دَاوُود) bears the resemblance of "ugglu". David is a common Jew name.

"Hey man, have you been talking to Ugglu lately?"
"Yeah, I really like her"

Xin

A Xin is an endangered Chinese American species. Finding a Xin in the wild is rare, but you might have some luck in California. They are usually characterized by being short and have simple haircuts. They particularly enjoy humor that's centered around suicide, racism, or masturbation. They are very intelligent, however.

"Yo dude I met a Xin yesterday"
"How did you know he was a Xin?"
"I told him to kill himself and he started laughing"

Derived from "chalk it", when your teacher is so annoying you want to tell him to chalk it, but you say chanit instead.

Teacher: "Ok class, remember that you have a test tomorrow and your lab write-up is due on Friday. Also I still haven't graded your tests from three months ago"
Gleb: "Chanit bruh"

Fargangenheyt

Fargangenheyt is simply the past, but when you want to highlight the specific nostalgic and melancholy nature of the past. From Yiddish "פאַרגאַנגענהייט". It can be in reference to past regrets, dreams that faded away, or events from the past that you yearn for.

"Yo bro what are you thinking about?"
"Reminiscing about my long-gone fargangenheyt..."
