Larding

The act of extreme, almost performative laziness, expressed by lying or slouching so relaxed and spread out that one appears excessively heavy or inert.

A state of indulgent inactivity: doing nothing productive, often idly consuming content, or otherwise rotting away.

"I planned to do something today, but I ended up larding around for three hours instead."
