the feeling of being in oneness with yourself and the environment such that the two are no longer disparate; not associated with any higher order or religious/spiritual systems

When I abandoned my religious faith I felt the desire to better connect myself with others and with the environment, so I began meditating and taking online biology courses to regain a sense of euality with the world.
