When your friend is depressed and wants to be left alone, shunning society to go curl up in his/her emo corner.

I heard Kate broke up with her boyfriend, so I tried to call her to hang out, but she didn't pick up. I hate getting depresshunned.

"Cameron told me to go away. I wonder if he's mad at me."
"Nahh, he's probably just depresshunning you. It happens to the best of us."
