"Bar lesbian" refers to a heteroflexible or bicurious woman who is usually strictly heterosexual, but will participate in occasional homosexual activity (e.g. kissing or groping other women) while frequenting a bar or pub, for the express purpose of attracting male attention. Alcohol plays a role of varying significance to this behavior, but can usually be implicated.

"Did you see those chicks making out in the corner? What a couple of bar lesbians."
