Burger Music

Burger music is another term for “coworker music”. Basically the type of music that you’d be hearing while working at a Burger King, you’re trying to close up, and the corny ass music your 35 year old, “go woke, go broke” coworker keeps blasting out of his shitty JBL speaker is triggering your fight or flight response.

Examples of burger music: Dax, Tom MacDonald, Eminem (post Recovery era), AJR, Falling In Reverse, Imagine Dragons, Jelly Roll, Aaron Lewis, Machine Gun Kelly, Kid Rock, and Slaughter to Prevail.
“I was getting ready to close until Tyler started playing that fuckass burger music.”

Burger Music

When you hear a song that’s genuinely so bad and boring that you can’t imagine how real people listen to it. The kind of slop that plays on the radio.
Guy 1: Yo bro can you give me the aux?
Guy 2: Hell no bruh, you’re gonna play Dax again. I’m not trying to hear that burger music.

E-Burger Music

A term used to describe a subgenre of Burger music (also known as Co-worker music). The distinction lies in the "E" at the beginning, which is a nod to terms such as "E-boy" and "E-girl," used to describe those considered edgy and alternative. While Burger music primarily encompasses rap music, closely resembling artists such as Dax and Eminem, E-Burger features rap elements combined with rock, giving it a darker, edgier sound that many Burger aficionados enjoy. Examples of E-Burger music are Corpse's 2021 single "E-GIRLS ARE RUINING MY LIFE!" and Falling In Reverse's 2024 album titled "Popular Monster."
PERSON 1: "I've been listening to Dax and Tom MacDonald lately, but have you ever listened to E-burger music?"

PERSON 2: "E-burger? Is it like burger music but edgier? Like Falling in Reverse and Corpse?"

PERSON 1: "Yeah, pretty much, and it's got darker lyrics too. E-burger music has gotten me through some real stuff."
