The slang term for "Penis" commonly used/heard in rural parts of Western New Brunswick, Canada. Alternatively called the "Bird" as well. Used mostly by local hillbillies to casually and crudely describe either their own penis or their friend's. Origin is unknown, though locals say it stems from the possible lack of collective IQ points in this specific rural region due to lack of Federal funding to rural areas.

1. "Don't pull out yer' dirty fuckin root there, bud! It's broad daylight! What are ya? A Goof?"

2. "Buddy in the locker room said I had a real big root hangin' off me, I ain't gay but I'm takin' that as a compliment fer sure!"
