Try-hard Alpha wannabe

An unconfident male who wants to be seen to be an Alpha male but lacks the qualities of a true Alpha. They act out traits they believe an alpha would do, but lack insight, for instance an Alpha would never call themselves one or behave in the way a wannabe alpha would. They are Toxic males that are lacking in any class. Real Alphas are usually successful and have high paying jobs, natural leaders and command respect, but have personal insight. The biggest difference is a man with genuine alpha traits respects other people's personal boundaries. A rum wannabe doesn't know where they end and the other person begins. Wannabes are usually low down in the working class demographic and think being a Man is about simply competing with other males for societal hierarchy which results in annoying the sh*t out of their peers. Alphas can be likeable, wannabes are never liked by anybody and have few if any real friends. Wannabes are tormented souls who need pity not respect.

Keep Trying Guy

When a man messes up and is dragged through the dirt, fired from his job, and ostracized by his friend group because his moral failing publicly humiliated his coworkers/buddies, tarnished their reputations, and resulted in a lack of brand alignment.

Friend #1: "Did you hear about that YouTube guy that tries stuff? He cheated on his wife and was fired by his friends, the other 'try dudes', who called his actions and inappropriate behavior a 'betrayal'."

Friend #2: "Well, if he's looking to make a comeback, he could just create his own YouTube channel and call it the 'Keep Trying Guy'. He can talk about his issues and what he's learned from his mistakes. Who knows, maybe people will stop villainizing him for being human..."
Friend #1: "Huh... The dude was a hypocrite, though. He cheated on his wife after calling himself the 'wife guy' of the group and building his brand around that..."
Friend #2: "Well, all men have their moments... Their 'Keep Trying Guy' moments..."

Try-Hard

Someone who 'tries' too 'hard' to present themself as their idea of "cool", oblivious to the fact nobody else feels that way about their expression, instead coming off as corny / cringe-worthy. This might be a dude doing a burnout while driving past a group of unimpressed girls, or a pampered middle class youth displaying the gestures and sentiments of a hustler.

Person 1: "Did you see Kevins instagram post fronting like 'mr money' with like $80 in his hands?"
Person 2: "Yea I tried not to say anything... that's barely 1 days work... he's such a try-hard"
