Although the Joker is a well written fictional character, its recent rise in popularity has given birth to rather dark and concerning subcult. Stemming from mild autism, delusions of grandeur and an inexplicable desire to appear mysterious, the figure now known as the "why so" can be observed - although mostly on outdated social media platforms - in most major cities. Emerging within the Montreal subcultural scene, the term "why so" encompasses more than a look, or a mere interest for the Joker, it is rather a profoundly anchored mental attitude.
