Buffalo Soldier

Used to be a term for black American soldiers in old USA, now can be used to describe a stoner / pothead who like to smoke the magic herb while listening to reggae music all day long.
Check out Bill here, a true buffalo soldier. Would be smoking mary jane all day if he could.

soldier mission

Going on a day trip for skiing/snowboarding where you leave home early in the morning and return home that night, instead of renting a hotel room for one, or having an extended stay of more than one day.
Person A: "Why weren't you at work yesterday?"
Person B: "We did a soldier mission to Wolf Creek, left Albuquerque at 4am, were on the slopes by 9am, then got back in town about 9pm. Im exhausted from all the driving, but the pow was worth the trip!"
Person A: "Nice man, but you better hope the boss-man doesn't find out!"

Soldier Allergies

The slight moistening of a soldier/ex-soldier's eyes when they remember a fallen comrade. Can also apply to anyone who has lost someone close to them. They're not crying, they're just overcome with allergies is all...
Around June 27th, 2013, a young injured airman passed away in Florida after suffering injuries from an I.E.D. in Iraq. I'm sure his fellow airmen must get a few soldier allergies thinking about him now and then.

Sometimes I think about Papa and the stories he used to tell us. I'm getting a slight case of soldier allergies just typing this...

european soldier bag

A man purse or murse. Also, comenly reffered to as a sathcel. Different from a back pack or book bag in that it usually only has one strap. Can be carried over the shoulder or cross body, like a messanger bag (even worse than over the shoulder, if you can imagine). In a few rare instances, the strap may only allow it to be carried using just one hand, like a PURSE. Unless you are actually from Europe & still in Europe (and even then I would question it), the "ESB" is completely unacceptable. Usually, carrying one will undoubtedly have you mistaken as being gay.
Progressive commercial where the man is accused carrying the ladies purse, NOPE it's actually a european soldier bag bought by the wife.

The Hangover, "It's not a man purse, it's called a satchel, Idiana Jones wears one." NO DUDE, it's a ESB. thanks.

Did you see Tommy in those camo pants? They were kinda tight, he looked like he was getting his silk soldier on.

The first soldier

Albert was born in Reauville in the department of Drôme in south-eastern France on the 5th of March 1895. He was the third son of a modest family of farmers. His father was Séverin Roche and his mother was Louise Savel.
France's Albert Severin Roche became known as “The First Soldier” of France for his heroism and bravery. Despite his small stature and his peers' scepticism, by the end of WW1 Albert had more than proved himself, having captured over 1,180 prisoners while fighting for the French Army.
The First Soldier of france was incredibly brave, he captured 1,180 prisoners while fighting for the French Army!
