From this technology, companies like Samsung and Google made their own versions. Samsung created the “Galaxy” line of phones and Google created the “Nexus”, which was discontinued in the 2010’s for the more controlled replacement, the “Pixel”. So far, Apple has continued making new versions with better hardware and software.
