A term used in the famous Dutch town called Volendam.
A jas is someone who lives / goes to Volendam often but isn't a real Volendammer.

(Dutch) Person 1: Godverdomme Person 2, daar is die vieze jas weer.
(English) Person 1: For gods sake Person 2, there's that stupid jas back at it.

It is a made-up word commonly used in Malaysia, especially in Johor Bahru. It means a person who's obsessed with his/her crush, mostly his, so they make videos and portfolio about them. they are also known as 'creep' or 'stalker'

(You pronounce it like jā-má-sùn)

He is a ja-ma-soon. He made a video about me saying I love you.
