Euphemism for engaging in intimacy, esp. with a hater and a gatekeeper, who is also God's favourite princess, and the most interesting girl in the world (see Shadowheart). Originated in Baldur's Gate 3, an RPG released in 2023 by Larian Studios.

Shadowheart: "Though I'm still finding sand in my hair - I wonder what the others will think of that..."
Tav: "They will naturally assume we snuck away to make sand castles in the middle of the night."
Shadowheart: "But of course they will. I hope we'll have more opportunities to slip away... and make sand castles."

Daut Castle

A term from the Age of Empires 2 (AoE2) community which refers to a castle, usually placed a little too far forward on the map, which is not able to be fully built because of enemy military in the area. Named after pro player Daut, this ambitious style of castle placement was recognized by the game's Definitive Edition release with the achievement "Castle of Doubt," for which a player must place a castle foundation and leave it unbuilt at over 90% completion.

T90Official: "I don't know if this castle goes up, Dave. The army's coming in, the villagers are dying aaaand--"
