Micro-muttering

Speaking in a very inaudible voice to oneself within earshot of others. People around you ask, "Are you talking to me?" a couple of times since you are having your own back-and-forth conversation; one voice out loud, but not loud and the other, in one's head.

Billy, are talking or listening to me? I asked you twice to speak up. Oh sorry dear, I was simply micro-muttering.

Micro

Micro - a term used by a group of gentlemen known as “the boys” which infers a gathering most commonly known as “a session.” During this so called “session,” typically 1-2 ring leaders encourage casual happy hour drinks, but without the other boys knowledge/consent, show up with a small dosage of “Peter” to give a spark to the reunion. While “The Micro” is only meant to be 1-2 hours, these events have be known to go on much longer into the night, or as some would refer to as “the darkness”
