Lateral Copy

Sharing an article from the Internet while bypassing a paywall.
If you are a member and receive an interesting article, but your friend cannot read it because they are not a member, what do you do? You copy the article “by hand”, put it back together nicely and send it to the friend. This is a lateral copy.
Another great article that J. will be interested in. But the link is useless to him: he's not a member. I'll have to make him a lateral copy again.

Smell you later

"Smell you later" is a phrase inspired by Tyler, The Creator’s song “Are We Still Friends?” It's used as an alternative way to say goodbye to someone you love—because saying goodbye often feels like letting go, or bidding farewell to the uncertainty of tomorrow. It is used as a promise that even if you’re parting now, a piece of them still lingers in the air.

It’s not about literally smelling someone (though scent is memory) it’s about leaving behind a trace—a moment, a memory, a feeling.

A way to say, “I’ll miss you, but I’ll catch you in the wind of tomorrow.”

Used when:
– You love someone but can’t find the courage to say goodbye.
– You’re leaving but hoping the universe finds a way to bring you back to them.
