When you’re talking to someone online and you’re not sure if they’re real or a catfish — they exist in a superposition of being both real and a catfish until you meet them or see them on video.

Example:
Person 1: Yeah bro, the girl I’m talking to is really cool.
Person 2: Great, have you seen her yet?
Person 1: No, but I sent her flowers.
Person 2: Ah… Schrödinger’s Catfish. Poor guy.

Bouncing is when you export your song from the DAW into an mp3/wav, and a catfish bounce is when it sounds completely different from what you heard in FL Studio (usually on the first bounce)

Me: I just spent 2 hours mixing this song, i cant wait to export it so i can listen to it later
