Highland Park

Highland Park or "Park Cities" is a place within Dallas, TX. As someone who grew up there and graduated HPHS a Cross-country star + Drill team Belle (B/C being an HP Cheerleader = slut) I can honestly say that everything the "haters" say is true, EXCEPT: Everyone IS supremely educated. Even the "airhead" Moms are SUPREMELY educated. The Dads of HP wouldn't marry anything less. (This isn't FRISCO for heaven's sake.) Parents. Students. Everyone is VERY educated and MOST know better than to act "out-of-sorts" or against their bloodline, but alcohol and ABSENT parenting is a real problem and it causes even the most educated to act VERY low-brow. If they don't get chartered off to rehab by Senior year, they usually end up throwing the best parties, bc again, their parents are never around...so.

"Haters" get your facts straight, because unfortunately, THAT false assumption discredited your whole "take-down". Sorry.

Person: Where'd you grow-up?
Me: Highland Park.
Person: Oh, you a rich girl. Huh?
Me: Yes.
Person: I'll be right back with your change. Thanks for dining with us.

Park Hobo Mongrel

An unpapered dog given to someone by a stranger, usually in a park, in order for the stranger to rid herself of the unwanted canine. It is usually done in such a manner that the person acquiring the cur does not have adequate time to assess the gravity of the mistake that is about to be made.

Ron's ex-wife was able to force upon him the park hobo mongrels that they had acquired together during their marriage, and was even able to make him grateful for the opportunity to own the four drastically lesser dogs.
