When someone feels an urge to do something that will give them social status. Similar to a watering mouth after smelling food, a clout boner comes after a realization of a clout-giving opportunity.

Clout Shout

A sound, word, or phrase that becomes distinct to a particular rap artist when used in repetition. Not to be confused with a producers tag, which usually comes in the form of a sound clip, the clout shout is often yelled by the artist just before and after their hot, hot verse is delivered.
