A sound, word, or phrase that becomes distinct to a particular rap artist when used in repetition. Not to be confused with a producers tag, which usually comes in the form of a sound clip, the clout shout is often yelled by the artist just before and after their hot, hot verse is delivered.

They use you to talk to people for them then takes all the game for it. Once you stop being their friend they start saying they are going to fight you but can’t the( dm) you to link but you don’t respond cause sum they will make a big deal out of it for (clout) they start talking about the stuff you did and how people « hated » you but don’t realize people hate them they often say you said you where tuff to them they lie and talk shit bout others
