Maybe the universe hasn’t finished
weaving the thread that connects us.
Maybe the morning sun still burns
with the memory of that Thursday,
the one we spent unaware
that we were saying goodbye without speaking.

Maybe there is still a ghost of a feeling
hovering near my ribs
the weight of your arms, safe and steady,
a shelter I didn't know I needed
until the roof was ripped away.

Maybe, in some twist of fate and mercy,
we collide again.
Not with fireworks, but with quiet certainty.
Just a moment where your eyes find mine
and the kiss tastes like forgiveness,
like coming home after a long, cold war.

And maybe that wasn’t the end at all.
Maybe it was just a long pause,
a quiet winter
waiting for the spring.

Maybe there is a loose end

This is a response that you can say to anything, because of all the words in this little phrase, Probably, saying there's a small chance, maybe, saying that there's an even smaller chance, and I Don't Know, rejecting all responsibility if you were wrong with your assumption.

"Hey do you know if Janice is coming to the party?" "Probably, Maybe, I Dont Know"
The perfect response do this because, you don't know if Janice is actually coming to the party but want to seem smart, so you say "Probably, Maybe, I Dont Know". again

A way to get people’s hopes up, or annoy them with constant repetition. A lazy and weak way to say perhaps, probably, or possibly. Another way to lazily say “that might be”, “the could be”, “we probably could do that”, or “there might be something”.

2. Perhaps / possibly / “there probably is” there is = Maybe there is
3. That might be the case = Maybe that is

Maybe Promise

The type of promise that comes from politicians or anybody on the the internet. Its a promise that has about a 50/50 chance of becoming true, usually when the promiser either will only complete their promise if they feel like it later, or when they are secretly hoping that the person/people they are promising will forget about the promise. Maybe Promises most commonly come from YouTubers, Redditors, or people named Casey. The chances of them completing the promise usually increase dramatically once the person/people they promised have the balls to pressure them, after they come to the realization that they are experiencing a Maybe Promise.

Annoying Minecraft YouTuber: GUYS IF THIS VIDEO REACHES 10K LIKES I PROMISE I WILL LIVESTREAM ME BEATING MINECRAFT ON HARDCORE MODE!!1!
