People who frequently prefer using white lies when arguing with you to convince themselves they are right. Those people also give you random and misplaced excuses on different topics to avoid facing their problems. Problem is, you know they are lying to protect themselves or trying to manipulate you.

- It's the 3rd time Tim gives up his graduate studies. Last year he gave up his first year of law school because "he couldn't stand one of his teachers". Now he just gave up osteopathy because "his ex follows the same course". He's FOB, his parents keep giving him money for that. Can't he find a job instead?
- Lea is so FOB. She said she couldn't come home because she was sick but she kept publishing party pics on her facebook.
- Some beeping noise in the kitchen woke me up at 3am and I surprised my stepdad . He said he heard someone outside, but I know he's FOB because the range hood was on. He doesn't know how to turn on the light on it and just wanted to sneak in the fridge for some secret night snack...

Fobs are the best kinds of people. They know how to party, know how to cook, know their songs, can dance hella good and more. They mostly have huge pots and pans to cook for their huge families. ( Normally around 11-13 children ). They also cook for family events; e.g. Weddings, Funerals, Birthdays, White Sunday, New Years ect.
They are gansta and normally black people are jealous of them. Black people tend to hate on them and start fights because FOBS are too skuxx. There are alot of fights between Black people and FOBS. Black people tend to start fights 3 on 1 while a FOB is alone. But as soon as it's an even fight Black People run away to get more people because they are scared.
FOBS are muscular and strong. This is because they eat alot, but they are also doing work 24/7 to burn all the food and gain muscle. E.G; climbing coconut tress, mowing the lawn, Cleaning the house.
FOBS are the best dancers. From New Zealanders, Cook Islanders, Samoans, Tongans ect. The girls can move their hips; a real turn on. But the boy's fire dance is too die for. The boys learn the fire dance and can get alot of exercise from practising. This also helps to burn the food off. Traditional dances are preformed at weddings, birthdays, new years, Christmas and other events.

Get the FOB mug.FOB stands for fresh off the boat. Its used as a noun - "so and so is a FOB". A FOB is basically any immigrant. Most definitions here refer it to east asians but its not limited to them.
Most contexts seem to use it with negative connotation - that the person has not adjusted to western culture and that they should be ashamed of their customs.
Sometimes, more trivially, it's used in the following context: when you think you're doing something 'cool' (by the standards of your people), but youre not (by the standards of white people), you're being a fob.
It could also be used as an adjective: fobby.
