The act of stealing a single chip or fry from a friend if you have no chips. You must say "chip tax" before taking the chip.

chip gathering

a gathering amongst biblical brothers. Usually in a secretive place, brothers in Christ. This is a biweekly occurrence, one must eat 30 chips during the gathering. You must have at least one unopen bag of chips present. You also must have two different types of salsa present. If you don’t meet the requirements, it is not a chip gathering.
