Channel 5

A Singaporean slang which is usually said when someone else is speaking in a non-English language and you want that person to speak English at that time. It got its namesake from the nation's most popular English TV Channel of the similar name.

Person 1: *speaks something in Mandarin/Malay/Tamil/any other language other than English*
Person 2: "Eh hello, Channel 5 can or not?"
