Metal Gear (Japanese: メタルギア, Hepburn: Metaru Gia) are the mecha in the Metal Gear series.12 In the series, a Metal Gear is a bipedal nuclear weapons-equipped tank. The Metal Gears are typically autonomous nuclear launch platforms which the player must destroy to save the world and complete the game. Often, confronting the latest Metal Gear model is one of the final challenges of each game, These things have been introduced in Metal Gear Solid, these things are pretty self explanatory.

To put it simply its just a Big Mech Armed with Guns and Nuclear powered Rockets, Even nukes in some cases.

They are commonly shown with a Huge High Frequency blade to battle other Metal gears.

Gorilla Metal

Metal music that sounds like what you'd get if you put a bunch of gorillas behind some instruments. Usually described by gatekeepers as "real metal." It is essentially the metal version of butt rock, but significantly less commercially accessible. Gorilla Metal can quickly be identified by the use of 7 and 8 string guitars to make up for a lack of creative writing ability, tasteless drumming that consists mainly of smacking the kit as loud and frequently as possible, and mainly screamed vocals. If there are clean vocals, they are certainly autotuned garbage.
