skank shift

A waitstaff shift occurring during a late weekday night, ie: Midnight to six a.m. on a Wednesday. Named so because these are the less-desirable (lower-paying) shifts usually worked by the less-desirable (aesthetically-challenged) servers. Term popularized in the movie "Swingers."

There aren't going to be any hot waitresses at the casino tonight; it's the Wednesday night skank shift.

With reference to drug dealing. A dealer runs tight shifts if he is constantly moving from deal to deal.

Eg. "Yo bro, I can't see yo till the evening, I'm running real tight shifts today."

the right shift button is probably one of the least used buttons on the keyboard, people usually use the left shift cuz its easier to access.
