Balance

Balance is not moving a Confederate statue somewhere nobody will argue over it and keeping it hidden, like an ostrich head. Balance is a Martin Luther King statue here in your face, and right next to it is a Confederate statue in your face, whether you like it or not. It's not compromising everything to get along, since that's a good way to end up fucked by the people trying to get you to compromise (and lose) everything.

Balance is not always pretty or peaceful, and it isn't meant to be that way.

The world has been out of balance for a long time, and people have been walking around off balance. Getting in line won't make anything more balanced, since lines tend to tip a balance.

A New Balance Plan is a highly contrived plan to arrange a run-in with your crush. It can sometimes edge towards silly or ridiculous. The goal is the crush not to realize you planned a run in.

Omni-Balance

Omni-Balance occurs when a roleplayer in a fight refuses to accept what would normally be a defeat of their character, and their character counters with a feat they were previously incapable of doing, upsetting the power scale of the entire roleplay and causing the roleplay itself to deteriorate.
