A soft drink named after the first boy who requested the beverage, a Joey is much like a Shirley Temple or a Roy Rogers, but instead of Ginger Ale or Coke it’s Dr Pepper with grenadine. Essentially it’s cherry soda with even more cherry syrup added in.

“And what would you like to drink, sir?”

“I’ll have a Joey”

“Sorry?”

“A Joey. It’s just a Shirley Temple but with Dr Pepper”
