Hitbox

A term used in video games.
"An invisible shape bounding all or part of a model"
This term refers to the user's 'Hitbox'
This is usually two separate boxes, A larger box for the player's torso and a smaller box for the players head.
Or, can be a larger combined box for all model parts.
The hitbox is usually used in single server/single multiserver games. (Not Client based games)

"Bro! That guy has a hitbox tracker!"

All though all games have one (a hit box) to combine their player models and more, they only become an active part of the model when in a game that takes damage.

To be using hitboxes in a way that is advantageous or above average, can be used in a sarcastic way.

"So we're hitboxing it up" after missing 3 easy to hit attacks in a row.

Hitbox

A term in FPS (first-person-shooter) games among other games that, in the literal sense, defines where a hit counts. Hitboxes are important for any and all games involving combat, as not having a hitbox doesn't allow any combat.
