An acronym meaning "Extortion Shakedown Grift". ESG scoring is a way to force investors and companies to follow the Leftist agenda through the leveraging of investors' guilt. It's a way to obfuscate the socialist redistribution of wealth by woke crony capitalists.

If you oppose ESG, you do not have objections about how your money is invested, you are against saving the planet and for the oppression of minorities (or whatever "the latest thing" happens to be.

ESG is a form of extortion that forces companies to take particular actions whether or not those actions are in the financial interests of shareholders.
