After the Borland Convention of 1984, he condemned the aid given to rebels. When his war crimes in Argentina were uncovered, he was convicted. His long lost sister, she, was elected prime minister of the Philippines around this time. When the United States became the only country in the world, he would continue working with them, which he still does today.
