Intyatyambo ye Golide

(Inspired by the “Xhosa Women are gold diggers” stereotype) ‘Intyatyambo ye Golide’ or ‘uNoGolide’, is a woman with Xhosa heritage (or woman from a xhosa adjacent clan/tribe such as amaMpondo etc.) who takes pride in their Xhosa heritage, who is apart of a larger online community that is centred around the Xhosa experience and culture, alongside womanhood.

They often showcase their solidarity through the act of painting Gold Dots onto their face in a similar fashion to the traditional ‘white face dot’ patterns of the Xhosa people.

(Intyatyambo ye Golide translates to A Golden/Gold Flower, and ‘NoGolide’ simply means the Golden Woman/Woman of Gold/Gold Woman/The one with Gold).

Yes ma'amiodt, or just "Yes maamiodt" without punctuation is a fusion of the phrases "Yes ma'am" and "periodT". It is a way to affirm or confirm something or someone. It can also be used to not affirm something or someone. For example, the alternative would be "No ma'amiodt". A "ma'amiodt" can also be your friend or bestie. Other forms of ma'amiodt include "ma'amidid", "ma'amicunt", "ma'amerit". Ma'amiodt is mainly used without punctuation for edge and cuntiness.
