A music enthusiast or an amateur who uses already made samples and loops to compile generic sounding musical tracks snd songs, by dragg and dropping them on the timeline. Usually, the samples and loops are created by experienced producers and musicians, and they are sold on the "Splice" sample library website by subscribing users to the service.

Produce Group

A musical group that is formed through a reality TV show, typically one that’s also revolved around music. The group is destined to disband at some point throughout their run, whether through contract or through problems within the group. The term usually refers to the four groups formed from M-Net’s South Korean survival show Produce 101, IOI, Wanna One, Iz*One, and X1. However, can also refer to any other group that shares a similar fate.

Fifth Harmony was formed through The X Factor and eventually disbanded, which could technically put them as a Produce group.

Although formed by a different show, KEP1ER is still a Produce group as they only have a 2.5 year contract before they’re forced to disband.
