In the 1980’s, the slang was used to say that someone was feeling above everything, or their peers, who they saw as beneath them in some way. It could be used sarcastically as well, but it was mainly used as a way to get their friends to help them to humble themselves in some way.

Ex: I’m feeling a bit superior tonight.

Ex2: I’m just so superior, & I need you to talk me down. Can we go do some dumb shit?
Ex3: Thot thinks she’s so superior. How about we bring her back to reality.
