Get the countries mug.A 4th world country is a nation that is so severely undeveloped in terms of infrastructure, is so poor, and has such political instability, that it makes a 3rd world country look extremely developed.
There is currently no such thing as a 4th world country; however; the term may still be used as hyperbole for somewhere that is extremely undeveloped.
