Where you come from originally is your town/city, and there, along with other people originally from there, is our town/city for you and them.
The bubbly girl wanted to make several towns/cities she wasn't originally from competitive with Northeastern cities so that her pockets could reap the benefits, despite being a guest in these towns/cities and not a native of them.
