change request

When someone within the non-IT practicing part of an organisation documents a constructive idea he or she has with respect to the correctness, functionality or performance of a software or system, then duly files that ("the Change Request", "the CR") in the agreed ticketing system for someone with a distinct responsibility for the development and continuous improvement of that software or system to incorporate and implement in the software or system, and hoping that it will eventually be handled and delivered, only to finally conclude that the CR process is nothing but a self-service trash for important and relevant ideas that no-one within IT will in fact ever lift a hand to service.

That's a very good idea! We understand what you are missing. Yes, that would be great. So that we don't forget about it, could you please file a change request in <name of CR system> and we will plan it for a future release.

leg-request tug

Refers to da gentle "urging nudges" dat you give da thigh of a snuggly chick who's lovingly spooning you in bed wif her arm around you; it involves reaching back and softly curing your fingers around behind her upper thigh and then giving a couple of small squeezes with your fingertips to mean, "Can I have your leg, too?" Da cutie then obligingly swings her juicy leg forwards and drapes it over your upper legs so dat you can savoringly caress her soft warm ample thigh, massage her smooth rounded calf, and/or cradle her plump rubbery toes in yer fingers.

Tiffany usually remembers dat I love having her put both her arm and leg over me when we take a nap together, but anytime she forgets, a simple leg-request tug is all I need to do to immediately be rewarded wif a soft warm plump lower-extremity dreamily embracing me, as well.

Requestion

When you give someone a requirement or request (i.e., tell them what to do) but deliver it in the form of a question, making it seem like they have a choice.

At the end of the meeting Sam's boss said "You'll send that report to me by 5pm today, right?".

When Sam was getting ready to head home Pat said "You better send that file before you go, if you don't you're going to get in big trouble!"

Sam sighed and looked for the report, knowing it wouldn't be read for a week (if ever) but also knew he'd hear about it in his annual review if he ignored another requestion from his manager.

actually refers to any product that is produced only for editorials and is never actually put into production for consumer purchase. So, instead of “Price Upon Request”, the phrase should actually read “This Product Doesn’t Actually Exist for Purchase At All”

I have been reading fashion magazines since I was a teenager and have always wondered what the phrase “Price Upon Request” meant when printed next to the product details on a high-fashion editorial
