Libtard is an appropriate designation for anyone identifying as liberal and demonstrating cognitive dissonance around it. Since liberalism can be expressed anywhere on the political spectrum, you can be "right-wing" or "left-wing" and be a libtard.

Anyone misappropriating the definition of libtard is likely to be a libtard.

Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on the rights of the individual, liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law.

Trumptard, if you think for a minute about what you're advocating for you'll realise you're the epitome of libtard.
