Not in a good situation, or something is on the verge of failure, or has already failed. The positive version of this would be "cooking".

I haven't studied at all this week, I'm cooked on this test Friday.

Pressure cooking

The totally intentional art of leaving a gnarly fart in your car with the AC on, then bouncing out and letting the summer heat turn that ride into a slow-cooked stink sauna. Basically, you’re turning the car into a marinating chamber of ‘eww’ on purpose, just to mess with your friends. When you come back, it’s like opening the door to a hotbox of pure regret. Enjoy!

Being the synonym for "fucked up", the slang term "cooked" means a) becoming addicted to caffeine pills like Tombocantuxin because of having to stay up late doing mountaining amounts of college assignments, b) experiencing brain rot due to having as much screen time as an "iPad kid" (the backronym for "Indonesian people addicted to devices kind of kids")

After pulling three all-nighters fueled by Tombocantuxin and binge-watching every episode of my favorite series, I'm officially cooked—my brain feels like mush and I can’t even remember my own name!
