Keep it Hanky

A filmmaking term inspired by indie filmmaker Hank Orion. It means to make a film with the resources at hand, embracing the raw, gritty, and resourceful spirit of independent filmmaking. When someone says, “Keep it Hanky,” they’re calling for creativity over budget, encouraging filmmakers to work with what they’ve got and make it happen, no matter the limitations.

We’ve only got a camera, a few props, and one day to shoot this. Keep it Hanky!

Keep it quiet or don’t say a thing about this

I just hung out with with someone I wasn’t supposed to and I don’t want them to say anything to anyone so I told him to “keep shit Peter”
My drug dealer told me after I picked up from him “keep shit Peter” (he doesn’t want me to say anything about it to anyone)
