many music lovers use this in reference of "snatching" the barricade (aka first row) at a general admission concert. usually used when there are a lot of fans trying to get the barricade but you prevail and ultimately "snatch" that barricade. a true accomplishment!

1. How early are you lining up for the concert tomorrow ? I wanna get there early enough to snatch the barricade.

2. Can you believe I snatched barricade for ___ last night? It was amazing!
