ball

A rounded portable object that can come in a large variety of sizes, textures, firmness, bounciness, etc. Hard balls include bowling balls, handballs, cricket balls, and basketballs. Soft balls include stress balls, rubber balls, foam balls. There can be decorations on the balls, such as the grooves of a basketball or the pentagonal black-and-white pattern on a soccer ball. Balls are usually used when playing a certain type of sport, for fitness/weightlifting, or for yoga. They can even be fun to play with! You can play w/ balls with a friend, a group of friends, or by yourself. Sometimes balls give you concussions if they hit you on the head, so make sure to not throw a heavy or hard ball and to avoid and unfriend anyone who throws one! Balls can even be used by animals, such as dogs. Ever heard of the game fetch? It's when an owner of a dog throws a ball into a distance, and the dog attempts to run towards it and retrieve it, and thus the game repeats itself. It's quite fun actually, but it's sad when you don't have any dogs to play the game with, like me. Hence you could try playing fetch with your friend or younger brother; I assure you, you will have a spectacular time!

PS. If you ever are lucky enough to possess a ball, make sure to take good care of it. Wash and groom it every day, play with it with special care, and most importantly: do not let it fall into a bush or into a ditch! I recommend you to label your ball and put it somewhere safe, eg your pocket or bag.

A: Hey! I brought a ball to school today!
B: Omigod!!! Can we play??
A: Yeah, let's play fetch- you can be the dog and I can be the owner !!

Term used to describe a girl who is often passed around, commiting to reckless or 'wild child' behavior decreasing their apparent value as a person
Compared to an indoor ball, outdoor balls are often worn and less valuable, often best kept outside.

Man, Lexie is such an outdoor ball. I see her partying with a different dude every day. Pretty sure there's a plaque of her at every frat on campus. I feel bad for her dad.

an Indoor Ball is a woman who takes care of herself and values self worth, often choosing to better herself and stay in, partying only in moderation. She prioritizes herself over chaos, surrounding herself with other good people who stay on the right path.

Carol has always been an Indoor Ball —Ill see her at church, hitting the gym, and only at a party once in a blue moon. Heard she can still shotgun a beer like a champ, though.

Gun-Ball

A Gun-Ball or Gunball is a slag term used to describe individuals who largely only partake in a single circle of video games, mainly mainstream ones, that prominently feature "guns" or "balls" in them. These individuals refuse to try anything outside of their comfort zone, and label anything that does not include "guns" or "balls" in them as "mid" without actually trying them first. These same individuals are usually at the forefront of claiming that "modern gaming isn't fun anymore".

The term originated from a Twitter/X post from the user @LANDoCUH, posting a video of the character Patrick Star snoring comically with the caption "Niggas when a video game aint got guns or a ball in it". From there, the post was quoted and formed into the "Gun-Ball" term used to describe these individuals today.

*Two friends are playing Mario Kart. Friend 1 prominently plays sports games and first-person-shooters. Friend 2 plays a wide range of games*

Friend 1: Man, this game is so boring.
Friend 2: What do you mean? It's fun. Simple, sure, but fun.
Friend 1: I don't know man, I'm just not feeling it. Wanna play COD 6 instead?
Friend 2: You're a Gun-Ball bro. This is why you think gaming sucks.
