Gorp Miner

Someone who "mines" the good stuff out of the gorp on outdoor trips, leaving nothing but peanuts and raisins. In context, the term "miner" is also used as they are usually eating gorp when their behavior is noticed. Gorp stands for Good Old Raisins and Peanuts. Crap is a more modern term as it stands for Candy, Raisins And Peanuts, though this term is less well know.

Gorp

The term gorp is inspired by the fashion trend gorpcore. Gorp is being used when something is cool or if it is somehow linked to the gorpcore aesthetic. The term gorp is very popular in Scandinavia as well as the gorpcore style. The using of the new-born slang has almost the same meaning as cool, but the popularity of the word gorp might not be permanent as it has been blooming with the gorpcore fashion trend and the using will probably fade with time.
