Example, someone being accused of using queer pressure on their friend:
Person 1: Did you see this new show? I hear it has good queer representation
Person 2: Jeez man you've told me about it like 6 times this week, stop queer pressuring me

the act of pretending you're gay because its "trendy". Usually, queer fishers pretend they're queer to get attention from the queer community, because they view it as "quirky", "interesting", or as mentioned, "trendy".

"Did you hear? ____ was queer fishing to get into ____'s sleepover!"

Queer Leftist

A self-defining term typically used by those who do not identify as straight and share political beliefs on the left-side of the spectrum.

These individuals usually use being a queer leftist as their individual defining trait, and weaponize it to deflect any responsibility of mental health and social normality. Most that use this term to define themselves have of the following:
- Have at least one mental illness.

- Live in a liberal urban center and/or attend university.

- Listen to alternative punk and indie.
- Self-medicate with marijuana.

- Are overweight.

I matched with a woman on Tinder who described herself as a queer leftist. She thought that being un-medicated and listening to garage bands is a character trait.

renaissance queer

A they/them that has literally done some plumbing and locksmithing on top of their music making, art making, dancing and writing.

In the literal sense, the renaissance queer has literally been reborn into being queer through creative/discursive practices.

Babes they’re such a renaissance queer, they fixed my toilet and wrote a poem about it’s diffraction in time and space!
