During the act of tree trimming extended families gather together at a place of meeting and sing off tune Christmas carols except for those named Lisa and Christina, eat Popeyes chicken and many sweets, do a strange ritual known as white elephant that involves many paper bags, and lastly take part in a high stakes game where dollars are exchanged and dice and insults are thrown. All in all tree trimming if full of laughs and joy, and above all good old family bonding <3
