Social justice dilemma

A situation where you make mistake related to social justice, which makes another person uncomfortable. You would like to apologize for it, but you feel like you can't because the individual would view you as being privileged and inconsiderate. The individual will likely not even hear you out or give you a chance to redeem yourself, because of their view of you being biased and unwilling to talk to people who they think are like that, even if those people are not actually that way at all. As result, you are never able to apologize, which causes you to have to carry some regret from the incident around with you for a long time.

I once liked a girl. I had a crush on her while I was in high school, but never had the guts to talk to her. A year or two after I graduated high school, I decided to try to at least be friends with her and tried to find her. I eventually found her and attempted to talk to her, but it came it all wrong because I never really thought about what I should say to her when I ran into her, which because she was a girl made it a difficult situation. I had unintentionally embarrassed her, but because of gender inequality it may never be possible to apologize to her, which makes this situation like a social justice dilemma. I still lug the regret of happened because of it today.

3: To violate social, legal, and or societal rules and expectations about behavior

Great White Sharks often breach in order to catch seals.

A reference to when one or two political parties have control of a vast majority of the government over a prolonged period of time.

The United States government would be an example of a political monopoly.

When someone get kissed by their crush, and they get stiff and red because it feels so good; just like in the Bambi movie.

Chuck: Why is Justin so stiff and red?

Nolen: He just got Bambi kissed. He got kissed by his crush, Jessica, for first time.

Political insanity

1: The chaos associated with politics
2: A perception problem where an individual's abilities to tell what is and is not real, tell right from wrong, and control their emotions are impaired because of how an individual's views and expectations about the world around them and other people's behavior are strongly shaped by their political ideology. They tend not to respect other people's opinions.

1: There is always so much political insanity occurring during election season, because the politicians always fight over things that tend to be quite pointless to the extent where it becomes annoying.
2: Marco tends to have a big issue with political insanity. He never listens to other people's views on politics and keeps asserting that they are wrong.

the Forgotten Point

The point in time at which, after someone dies, no living person remembers that individual anymore. The amount of time for this takes occur varies from person to person; and depends on how popular they were and how many close friends and family they have.

Charlie was very popular and well liked. It will take them many years before they reach the forgotten point. Joe was not as well known; so he will reach the forgotten point sooner than Charlie will.

Privilege of the Living

The idea that people who are alive have more legal rights and protections and are often valued more socially by mainstream society and the government compared to people who are deceased.

People need to be more mindful of about the Privilege of the Living. Just because someone has died does not mean that they no longer have any value.
